Children of SOS Children's Villages in Syria, between the ages of 10-14 years old, participated in contributing their own books to the Child Friendly Space (CFS), a joint project between SOS Children's Villages and Massar Project. The activity aims to develop collaboration between children and raise their culture of giving to make someone else happy, in addition of enhancing their knowledge on the local society's issues and coming up with solutions. To accomplish this mission, children were divided into groups responsible on finishing different tasks, they collected, repaired, cleaned books' covers and put them in boxes. Then they finalized their mission by beautifying their boxes with drawings and words from their heart, wishing displaced children to return safe to their homes and live in peace with their families.
